Windy Place is a hobby farm on the Southern Fleurieu Peninsula South Australia near Middleton. We breed English Leicester coloured sheep, have a couple of merinos and alpacas too. English Leicesters have a stronger fleece, so is most suitable for outergarments. Produce available include:
- Raw fleece - white or other natural colours
- Washed fleece
- Hand Spun yarns in 100grm balls
- Dyed fleece and yarns
- Sheep plyed with alpaca Hand Spun yarns
- Merino plyed with English Leicester Hand Spun yarns
- Knitted garments e.g. beanies, scarfs & jumpers
The undyed fleece is sold in 1kg lots and the dyed in 500gm lots. The alpaca is sold in 100gm lots.
