Thanks for stopping by our shop, Indigo Ink, the hilltop home of handbound books, screenprinted goodies and (just because wool felt makes me go weak at the knees), delicate handstitched brooches.
Indigo Ink is the creation of the two of us - Lauren and Chris - working from our tiny miner's cottage "studio" in the Victorian high country. We love bold colours, the "you-know-you-wanna-touch-me" nature of canvas and calico, and the idea that human hands can create things that nowadays are usually only made by machine (books, for example). In fact, I'd say human hands can do it better!
To us, "handmade" means tiny-scale production, items designed by the same minds and hands that create them, with each piece having a unique story behind it. We uphold these principles in our own "handmaking", and support other makers who do the same.
Take a peek at our store, drop us a line to say "hi", and let us know if something tickles your fancy!
