Wick Trimming
Trimming your candle's wick to 7m before lighting everytime will help to extend your burn time. However, do not trim your wicks too short. Too short of a wick can result in a small flame in which case the liquid melt pool may not be able to reach the edge of the container. Note that all wicks will smoke if they are improperly burned or not trimmed.
Prevent Tunneling
Reducing or eliminating candle tunneling will help to maximize burn time. Establish the best possible burn pattern on your fist burn. The general rule is to burn your candle one hour for every 2.5cm of diameter of the candle. Your goal is to have the liquid pool of wax extending to all sides of the container prior to extinguishing. To prevent tunneling, each time you re-light the candle, allow it to burn until the liquid melt pool extends to the edge of the container.
Temperature
You may notice some wet looking spots/areas on your candle where the wax has adhered to the surface of the glass. They are caused by temperature variations and are simply due to the expansion and contraction of the wax. You will notice that they change as the candle is burned or when the room conditions change.
They are in no way affect the quality of the candle.
Caution
Burn only on a stable heat resistant surface.
Keep from drafts.
Do not touch or move candle while burning, or if wax is hot.
Never leave candle burning unattended.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
