My name is Katia (Plushka) I love making felt toys, sew from linen, cute Japanese fabric and crochet.
I get inspired and influenced by French and Japanese styles. Handmade for me is all about quality and unique feel of items stitched by hand.
All goodies are handmade/hand-stitched using quality supplies with high attention to detail. I believe that small detail is what makes items more unique.
I use my original sketches for the toy patterns and, although each toy is created with the same pattern, I aim to give each softie it's own character and facial expression.
Founded in late 2009, Plushka became a label for handmade felt toys, unique gifts and home decorations, all handmade in a little corner of our living room that we lovingly call Plushka's HQ or studio.
Plushka creations are not only for the little ones but also for their parents who appreciate having handmade, practical and unique pieces as a part of their everyday life.
