Who can sell on madeit?
Anyone is welcome to sell their products on madeit as long as the product they are selling was independently designed or made. It does not matter if you create for a living or as a hobby, as long as it is your creation - you can sell on madeit. Sellers on madeit however must reside in Australia. Sellers that sell supplies to independent designers are also welcomed to be sellers.

Do I have to be listed in the directory to sell on madeit?
The madeit directory and shop are two completely separate entities and you do not have to be a directory member to sell on madeit. The directory membership policy differs to that of the shop. For more information on the directory policy visit the directory page or email hello@madeit.com.au

Do I send my items to madeit to be apart of the shop?
Madeit is not a conventional e-commerce website, instead madeit provides affordable online advertising space for you to sell your goods to your customers. Madeit works similarly to an online classifieds. We provide the medium for buyers and sellers to find each other but we do not handle shipping, warranty or payment for items listed on madeit. Please see the Terms and Conditions or our about/FAQ section for more information on madeit.

How much does selling on madeit cost?
To advertise on madeit, sellers will need to purchase what we call ‘madeit credit’ and the cost of listing the item will be deducted from your madeit credit total. The minimum amount of madeit credit that can be purchased at any one time is $5; by setting a minimum amount, madeit is able to offer sellers bonus credit points. Below are the credit pack details as well as the bonus credit you can earn.

Rock - spend $100 and over and get 30% extra madeit credit for free
Paper - spend between $50 - $99 get 20% extra madeit credit
Scissors - spend between $20 - $49 get 10 % extra madeit credit
Basic - spend $5-$19 no extra

How do I pay for madeit credit?
Madeit prefers credit card payment for madeit credit and for those who what to list items instantly this would be your preferred option. Madeit credit card processing is processed through EWAY - a secure online payment gateway. Madeit does not keep record of your credit card details.

Is your on-line credit card ordering secure?
Madeit offers a secure and easy means of purchasing madeit credit on-line. We use the latest in SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology to ensure that your personal and order details are encrypted so that the information cannot be read when in transit.

I do not have a credit card is there another way of buying madeit credit?

Madeit accepts direct debit for payment of credit. Please email sales@madeit.com.au and we will provide you with our bank details, upon receipt of funds, we will credit your madeit account accordingly. You will still receive any eligible bonus credit if you choose the direct debit option for payment. (Please note this process can take a few days depending on how long funds take to clear in our bank account).

How much does it cost to list an item?
Below are the listing prices per item. All prices are based on the selling price of the item you list. Shipping cost is not included in the listing price.

1c to $5 = 25c
$5 - $19 = 75c
$20 - $49 = $1.25
$50 - $99 = $1.50
$100 - $499 = $2.00
