Hello,The goal of this shop is to create items that make people smile.Many items are made from recycled materials.They are clearly labelled ECO in the listing.This insures shoppers whom require eco friendly products can shop with confidence in The Smile Emporium. I have a passion for finding new ways to recycle all sorts of materials. I am thankful to be a mother of 4 children with a 17 year gap between my oldest and the youngest. My passion for recycling developed from a thrifty lifestyle.
I really like being a mum, purple, playing the ukulele and following Jesus.
I get excited about about recycling stuff. Im always looking at peoples clothes and possessions and thinking -How else could I extend the useage of this item in a way that it functions well and looks good. The other part of my process is asking myself questions. Will the item potentially be a positive addition to someones life? For example aprons encourage creativity and skill building, bags carry our things allowing us to particpate in outings, rugs warm the feet. Buttons remind us that the simple things in life are beautiful. I create purposefully and joyfully, with a little 3 1/2 year old giving me his sweet wisdom and opinions from the sand pit about the item I happen to be making.
Well thats it-not just a rave,it really is how I think.
The rugs and some of the bags are made from an old method called "toothbrush" The tool used when this method was invented was a old wooden toothbrush.I use a nappy pin.

Shipping

I ship within 2 days of receiving payment for an item. All rugs are wrapped in plastic and placed in a post pack. Please note that buyers are responsible for any customs charges that my be incurred for shipping to other countries.

Refunds and Exchanges

returns will not be accepted after 30 days of the original order date. Items that are returned must be in the original condition that it was sent in. The buyer is responsible for any return shipping fees.
