Based in Burleigh Heads, Queensland, Australia, som & tooby create beautiful leather products, with each handbag being designed to bring out the beauty and natural charming characteristics of the leather they are crafted with, that is all too often lost in today's mass produced world.

som and tooby's handmade range is handcrafted out of quality local materials and Australian leathers in som and tooby's studio. som & tooby utilise a lot of kangaroo leather which highly regarded as being a light weight, soft and extremely strong leather, making it perfect for making handbags. Being handcrafted, each handbag in the range is unique and most bags are either one-off's or only a handful are produced.

About the designer...

Brooke West, the designer and creative force behind som & tooby, believes that nothing can define a woman the way her handbag can. Named after her two imaginary friends she had when she was a child, som & tooby was founded out of a love for authenticity and a dislike for mass production. Brooke has a background in fashion design and clothing production.
 
Brooke designs each product to embody simplicity and highlight the beautiful soft and subtle leathers that they are constructed with. Each piece is unique and bold.
