Squeak & Squirrel was born from my inability to find practical but pretty clothing for my then-newborn daughter, Alice.

I wanted little reminders of my own childhood: simple lines, beautiful colours. Like the pieces my sisters and I wore that our mum kept forever because they were too special to throw away.

On a machine my Mum bought me for Christmas, I started bringing my memories and ideas to life. Soon I couldn't just keep them to myself; I wanted to share them beyond our world so that other little ones could wear the whimsy of childhood too.

The core Squeak & Squirrel range is Marquise body suits, singlets and short, and long-sleeved tops, all of which have my signature additions. I also make a small range of dresses, blouses and bibs for babies and children.

Each piece has its own little story which I hope will one day hang alongside your family's own treasures.
