Hi and welcome to my shop. I am an artist based in Brisbane, Australia. I opened store on April 18th 2010, and think this is a great venue. I love shipping my art work all over the world, and I certainly didn't expect to be doing that before the internet. So thanks Internet!

I have a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Major in Photography) Queensland College of Art
I've also done short courses in Illustration at Saint Martins School of Art London
My illustrations are created using gouache on paper.
I am of the mindset that you should work in a job you love, and nothing less.
I like looking through book shops, chocolate, second hand stores, french film, and strange books.
Some of my favourite titles are
The Royal Family Pop Up Book- It is full colour and definately an eye opener- circa 1982
Miss Piggy's Guide to Life.
The Love Seeker- A Guide To Marriage- circa 1910
-and I quote Chapter 3, "How To Please Men" of this very useful book:
"She must supress her likes and dislikes, her whims and ailments. She must learn to listen patiently, with an air of charmed interest- this is very important; to be sympathetic and long- suffering, to bear teasing well, and never to show any hint of temper unless she be very, very pretty- and even then only rarely."

I love buying art books. My recent ones are "Charley Harper, an illustrated life"
"Illustration Now", and Illustration 2 (Top illustrators from Japan)
And a little anomaly of a book called "City of Shadows: Sydney Police Photographs from 1912- 1948" An absolutely amazing book, stunnningly eery black and white photos that are a mix of voyeurism and nostalgia.
