The terms and conditions apply to all users of this website and to all purchasers of goods (“buyers”) listed on the madeit website (“madeit”, “our” or “us”) by other madeit users (“sellers’). By using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Copyright This website is our copyright property. You may view this site and electronically copy or print hard copies or parts of this site for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not distribute, reproduce, display, publish or otherwise commercialise any part of this site without our written permission. Trade marks This website contains registered and other trade marks belonging to madeit. Except with our prior written approval, we do not authorise the grant of any licence or right to use those trade marks. Your use of the website While using our website, you agree not to interfere with or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the site or any transaction being conducted on the website or to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website. Disclaimer We are not responsible to you or anybody else for any loss incurred in relation to your use of this website. Your use of this site is at your own risk. We make no express or implied representations or warranties of any kind as to the operation of this site or any information, goods or services offered on this site, except to the extent that such obligation cannot be excluded at law. Buying and Selling on madeit. The following guidelines apply for listing items for sale on madeit: Selling items on madeit is only available to users residing in Australia. Items listed by sellers from outside Australia will be deleted without warning, Items deemed offensive by madeit staff will be removed without warning. Offensive items include (but not limited to) items such as weapons, pornography or any item deemed to be in bad taste. Items must be independent and unique in nature for example mass produced items will be removed. Madeit reserves the right to remove any item that is deemed to be unsuitable for sale on the madeit website. The seller must be legally entitled to sell the item listed for sale on madeit. The decision to remove any item is final. Refunds for any item removed from sale by madeit is at the discretion of madeit management but as a general rule refunds will not be offered. Any user who repeatedly lists items that are not suitable for sale on madeit will be banned. Responsibilities of the seller: You must pay your madeit seller accounts in full by the 7th of the month. Invoices are emailed on the 1st of the month. By accepting these terms & conditions on registration you agree to pay your account on time and in full. The seller must ensure that the item listed for sale is not in breach of the rules listed above. The seller must ensure that the item listed for sale is available for purchase by a buyer. The seller must ensure that the item is described correctly and in the specified condition. When a buyer purchases an item the seller is responsible for ensuring that the buyer has the relevant information to make payment for the item. When an item is sold the Seller is to ensure that reasonable communication is made with the buyer in order to complete the transaction. The seller is responsible for shipping the item to the buyer within an agreed time frame (as a guideline within 5 working days). Any seller determined to have received payment for an item but fails to send it will be banned from madeit Responsibilities of the buyer When clicking on the “buy” or “bid” button of any item the buyer is entering into an agreement with the seller to purchase that item. Failure to follow through with payment for an item may result in the buyer being banned from madeit When a successful purchase has been made the buyer is responsible for making relevant communications with the seller in order to complete the transaction. The buyer is responsible for making payment to the seller of the item in using the method specified by the seller for example Paypal. The buyer is responsible for ensuring their shipping address is specified correctly when making a purchase on madeit We reserve the right to ban any user that we determine to be in breach of any of these conditions or to be using madeit in any unsuitable manner We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time. |
