About

Hi, I'm Christine- Creator, Designer, Photographer and the girl behind Dellydot Designs.

I work from a little studio that I share with my Husband in our home in Canberra, Australia. He tinkers with his computers and I make jewellery, sew and do anything else my creative heart desires! We have two gorgeous daughters, and Dellydot Designs allows me to be at home with them, while working and fulfilling my creative passions :)

I have always been creative and the mediums I love most are making jewellery and photography. I also sew, crochet, colour-in, doodle, make play dough monsters, and am happy to try anything that lets me use my hands and creativity and make something beautiful or useful.

I've had a camera in my hands for the last 20 years, while jewellery making is a more recent passion. Amongst the first items I made was jewellery which I wore on my wedding day in 2006. It was made with pearls and beads which my Grandma gave me. I love that the necklace tells a story, and is totally unique to me. I continued to make jewellery- mostly as gifts for friends and family… and then life took over! My first daughter was born in 2008, and beads and other small craft supplies were put out of reach of tiny fingers and mouths and other (safer!) creative pursuits took centre stage. Fast forward a few years later and another daughter, and I'm back making jewellery again. I opened a store on madeit.com.au and started attending local markets.

Over the last few years Dellydot Designs has evolved to what you see today. I use vintage jewels and beads- carefully handpicked from all corners of the world. I then use these little gems to make elegant unique jewellery. Using vintage jewels in modern designs gives my jewellery a sense of history and a bit of old fashioned glamour. My jewellery is perfect for everyday wear or special occasions.

Thanks for popping by, I hope you love my jewellery as much as I love making it!
