Store Policies

Thank you so much for shopping at Little Seren!

I loved designing and creating each piece of clothing, and it is very important to me that you love them too! Here are some things to consider before purchasing. If you have any questions regarding products, sizing or policies, please message me. I prefer you ask a million questions before ordering, rather than receive something you weren’t expecting.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY: All items are made and ready to post. They are all limited edition, and often one-of-a-kind designs to ensure the individuality of your child’s wardrobe. For this reason, garments are only available in the sizes listed and due to fabric availability, will generally not be restocked once sold. Little Seren is currently closed to custom orders.

PAYMENT: Little Seren accepts PayPal and Direct Deposit (as per madeit policies, direct deposit is only available to those with a madeit customer account).

POSTAGE: At the moment, Little Seren only posts within Australia. For the added benefits of tracking and security, items will be sent by registered post. The postage costs are $3 for one item and $1 for each additional item. All items will be posted within 2-3 business days of payment being received. Delivery times are then determined by Australia Post but will hopefully be within 4-10 days from dispatch. As the delivery times are only approximate, an item arriving later than expected is not grounds for a refund or cancellation of an order. If an item is needed quickly, Express Post can be arranged for an additional fee.

SIZING: I have tried to standardise the sizing of all Little Seren garments, however, there will be some variation due to the fit of the clothing eg if it is meant to be loose or close-fitting. Sizing and measurement information has been provided for each item so you can measure your child or a well-fitting garment for comparison, and to give you an idea of length and fit. It is highly recommended you check this information before purchasing. If between sizes, or buying for a gift, I suggest you choose the larger size as it’s always better to grow into an item, rather than be too small, or only get one wear from it.

INCORRECT SIZE SELECTION: I strongly recommend you check the size information for each garment prior to purchasing. However, I know it can be difficult to choose the correct size online and that children are all built differently, so if an incorrect size is purchased, message me to discuss an exchange or refund. The item must be returned in original condition- unwashed, unworn and undamaged, and all postage costs will be at the expense of the buyer.
Please note, as all items are limited edition or one-off creations, an exchange for the same product/fabric may not be possible. In this case, an exchange for another product can be arranged. If the second selection is a higher price than the original purchase, the buyer is to pay the difference. If it costs less, I will refund the difference.

CHANGE OF MIND: Refunds will not be made for simple change of mind but an exchange may be considered with the same conditions as outlined for incorrect size selection.

FAULTY/ DAMAGED ITEMS: I always strive for the highest standards of craftsmanship and all items are thoroughly checked for defects or damage prior to packaging. However, if a fault is found, please message me to discuss the issue and the possibility of a refund or exchange. Refunds and exchanges will not be made if items were damaged while opening the post package, so please be careful if cutting it open.

CARE OF YOUR GARMENT: All items are made from 100% cotton, or 96% cotton/4% spandex. All fabrics are pre-washed to reduce the chance of shrinkage, colour-run or fading. However, to further reduce the chance, I recommend you wash and dry your clothing turned inside out, using cold water and line dry. Please note that cotton garments do crease and will likely require ironing. In the case of stamped fabrics, I use heat-set inks so these are totally safe to wash and iron. In the case of hand-painted fabrics, I use a fabric paint that washes very well and gets softer with each wash. It is best to iron these garments on the reverse side.
