This glittering herkimer quartz crystal boasts of uniquely interesting black inclusions called anthraxolite, which is fossilized plant material that is encased within the stone, formed millions of years ago in the middle of New York state when it was a shallow sea bed. These crystals, called "herkimer diamonds" are a testament to the wonders of nature, crystal formation, and the beauty of this planet.

This  elegant 9 - 11mm raw Herkimer diamond has been threaded onto a precious metal bar made by me and then carefully wire wrapped and connected to your choice of either a gold filled, rose gold filled or sterling silver chain.

You may choose from either a 42cm (16 1/2") or 46cm (18") chain from the drop down menu at the moment of checkout. The necklace shown on the model measures 16 1/2” long (42cm) and is shown in the gold fill finish.

Please note as these are naturally formed gemstones you may receive a stone that is completely clear or stone with the natural inclusions mentioned above, this should not be seen as a defect or flaw.  Some crystals have an extra crystal growing on them, this is completely normal for this stone.
