This is a PATTERN DOWNLOAD of a knitted cable headband in PDF format.

Skill level required - beginner/advanced beginner/intermediate - cable needle usage on straight needles. Knitted flat (cast on, knit, purl, bind off) and seamed afterwards.
Pattern uses 5.5mm straight needles (US9, UK5). 20cm length needles minimum.
This pattern works well for most wool thicknesses depending on how high you want the headband to be. I’ve use DK (8 ply) up to a chunky (12 ply). I’ve used Malabrigo Rios holding 2 strands at once to get nice thickness. Great stash buster - uses approx 1/3 skein of Rios (70 yards).

My pattern is written so it should be extremely easy to follow - use of a cable needle will be required, however, it is quite easy to use.
